Symposium Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Eligibility: The “Space and the Network” symposium is for AUSA members, employees or consultants of AUSA Sustaining Member companies, Government personnel, and invited guests.


Registration: There will be a limit of 150 attendees.

Registration fee per individual is $350 for industry and $100 for Government personnel. The fees will increase to $450 and $150, respectively, after close of business 25 May 2018. The fee includes all symposium material, continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon refreshments.

Advance registration is required. Registration with payment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We accept checks, American Express, VISA, or MasterCard. Please DO NOT send the registration form without payment—we will be unable to reserve space until payment is received.

Once your registration and payment are processed, you will receive a receipt by email.

Lodging: There is a block of rooms available at discounted AUSA rates at the symposium venue:  The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, 21500 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach CA 92648.

Note: The government rate applies only to current, active duty military and government employees.

Reservations must be made by 31 May 2018 to receive this rate. After 31 May, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis only. Please note that this is the “high season” for Huntington Beach, so the rooms booked outside of the block may have a significantly higher rate.

The check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 noon. The hotel will accommodate early arrivals on a space available basis


Parking: Parking is available at The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach at a charge of $33.00 per car, per day. All parking is Valet.


Dress: Military ACU uniform or business casual (coat and collared shirt) for civilian attendees.


Messages: The message number will be available on site.


Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): Registrants with special needs who participate in the symposium will be accommodated to the fullest extent possible. If you need special arrangements, please advise us when you register.

Local Airports: Los Angeles International Airport – Los Angeles International, John Wayne Airport, and Long Beach Airport,

MilAir travelers are directed to Los Alamitos Army Airfield (KSLI). Los Alamitos is the closest military airfield to Huntington Beach – about 10 minutes by vehicle.
