Major Diana Arnold
MAJ Arnold’s Army career began in 2005, after earning her BS at Cal Poly, Pomona, and her MPH from UCLA in Nutrition and Biochemistry.
She is Board-certified as a Sports Dietitian and as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist, serving as one of the Army’s nutrition and fitness SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).
Her experience with athletes includes all members of the Armed Forces, running groups, high school and collegiate teams, and as an advisor to the Gatorade Sports Science Institute.
She spent most of 2012-2013 deployed to the Middle East as the theater dietitian for 30,000 Americans, both military & civilian, where she taught 70 classes, and counseled 1500+ citizens.
She also went to Kuwait, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Germany and France as a soldier and medical escort with the 349th Combat Support Hospital, where she is currently the Nutrition Care Section OIC (Officer in Charge).
In her spare time she leads a running group of over 360 members, primarily veterans, and is active in educational and patriotic charitable organizations.
